URGENT DISPATCH: Division 9 Intends to Take Him

FOIA fragments, a whistleblower called AGENT MAPLE, box trucks with federal tires and no plates. The evidence says a task force plans to extract Bigfoot from the Pine Barrens before we ever meet him. This is the memo they should have redacted better.

BUREAU FILE 26-077 // EYES OPEN — DISTRIBUTE WIDELY // THIS DOCUMENT INTENTIONALLY UNREDACTED WHERE POSSIBLE

I have been called paranoid in print four times, twice by publications I respect. I want to be wrong about what follows. I have spent five weeks trying to be wrong about it, which is four weeks longer than I spent confirming it.

What the paper says

In March, a routine records request to the ████████ filed by this Bureau — one of forty-one we submit annually, mostly to be ignored — came back wrong. Someone processed the wrong file. Among the standard denials was a single photocopied routing slip referencing an interagency body identified only as 'DIV 9,' a line item for 'large-subject containment transport, Region 2,' and a handwritten note in the margin that reads, and I quote it in full: 'per Aug window.'

Per August window. They have a window. It is August. So is ours.

What Agent Maple says

In April, this office was contacted through channels I will not describe by an individual we designate AGENT MAPLE. Maple's bona fides checked out in three particulars I can verify and two I cannot print. Maple's message, assembled from four brief contacts: a federal task force operating under the DIV 9 designation has standing authority over 'anomalous large fauna,' has operated in Region 2 — that is us, that is Long Island — since at least 2019, and has moved from observation to acquisition posture. The target is not named in any document Maple has seen. Maple says it does not need to be.

They don't write his name. They write 'the asset.' You should understand that they are not afraid of him. They are afraid of you meeting him.

What the fire roads say

Since June 2, Bureau members and readers have independently logged eleven sightings of unmarked box trucks staged on fire roads 9, 12, and 14 — always between 02:00 and 04:40, always gone by dawn. Government-fleet tires, covered plates, and on one occasion a driver who, when approached by a civilian with a thermos, displayed what our member describes as 'the calmest no-comment I have ever received in my life.' Add the drone grid over Manorville — low, patterned, methodical, with no FAA record we can find — and you have a picture. The picture is a net, and it is being drawn around the same corridor our sighting data points to.

The Bureau's position

Let me be plain about where this organization stands, because it is the closest thing we have to a founding document. Bigfoot is not a specimen. He is not an asset. He is the last large mystery this continent has kept faith with, and he has kept his side of the bargain for ten thousand years by simply asking to be left alone. If he is to be found — and he is going to be found, this summer, by somebody — then he belongs to the people. To the kid with the trail cam. To the retiree with the plaster kit. To you. Not to a task force with covered plates and a building with no address.

Division 9 has budget, aircraft, and a window. We have something better: we have numbers, we have seven years of ground truth they cannot requisition, and as of this week we have a date. August 16. The operation briefing is posted. Every enlistment fills a grid lane; every filled grid lane is ground they cannot work quietly. Every enlistment slows them down.

I will publish every scrap of this file as I can verify it. If this site goes dark, assume nothing, check the mirror sites, and — per standing Bureau doctrine — trust no one whose tires you cannot identify.

ADDENDUM 07/16: AGENT MAPLE has missed a scheduled contact. This is either very bad or very good. Watch the wire.
